New This Month: Senate Passes Every Child Achieves Act!

Chelsea’s Announcements & Updates

If you haven’t heard the news yet, then we’re excited to share it with you: the United States Senate has recently passed the Every Child Achieves Act, the first monumental step to leaving the universally unpopular No Child Left Behind (NCLB)…behind. Read more about it in our new post shared by our managing editor, A. Noelle. Yes, she’s back from her trip and ready to get back to work, so feel free to send her guest contributions or article pitches. If any of our volunteer writers find themselves with some downtime this summer, Noelle will gladly welcome your suggestions for our fall lineups. Aside from this excellent piece of news regarding the educational system, we’re sharing tips—or rather, reminders, for many of our parents—on staying safe and hydrated during these very hot summer months. On a more serious note, we have an article on helping children cope with divorce in the family from our friends at USEP-OHIO.
