New This Month: Chelsea’s Summer Reading List

Chelsea’s Announcements & Updates

We are SO excited to welcome the newest member of our blogging team, Melanie Phounsavath! She shares some of her favorite tween reads from a variety of genres—the perfect list to kick off summer reading! Please feel free to add some of your own children’s book recommendations in the comments section. We’re also sharing some excellent parenting tips from our friends at USEP-OHIO on how to maximize learning and productivity by understanding our bodies natural rhythms and making the most out of the time we have during the day.

Chelsea’s Mission

Recently, we have notified forty-eight of fifty states’ Department of Educations’ superintendents, secretaries, commissioners, chancellors and/or directors about our work at The Chelsea Foundation, primarily in developing the Quality Effort Recognition Award Program for students. We share that message with all of our friends, followers, and volunteers in this month’s lineup. #ChelseaTweets #spreadtheword
