New This Month: Chelsea Keeps Kids Busy Over Summer Break

Chelsea’s Announcements & Updates

Happy Summer! We hope everyone is having fun and enjoying a wonderful summer vacation! Chelsea’s new posts are dedicated to keeping your children’s minds active during the break!

We are still looking for new recruits! The Chelsea Blog team is in need of some volunteers, willing to help us out with our blogging efforts: writing articles, fact checking, editing, proofreading, managing social media, etc. Contact our blog admin for more info: anvavia [at] gmail [dot] com.

Auntie’s Day is on July 28!

5thAnnualAuntiesDayisJuly282013

This day is dedicated to aunts, godmothers, titas, tias, and all women who hold a special place in our lives and in our hearts. We’re celebrating Auntie’s Day on July 28 to honor and thank these incredible women for all that they have done and continue to do for their nieces and nephews.

Visit AuntiesDay.com, and share the posters and eCards with the special Aunties in your life! Please, post and share on Facebook, Tumblr, or on your Pinterest boards! You can share them by either saving the image or copying the image link.

Give a shout-out to a wonderful Auntie on Twitter! Include #AuntiesDay or #AuntiesDayJuly28 in your tweets!

Twist of Fate — Indies in Action

BookCoverWithWords

The Chelsea Blog team would like to take a moment to announce the release of a new book called Twist of Fate—a charity anthology of 78 short stories and poems by 60 writers, representing countries from around the globe. This book was produced by the grassroots group Indies in Action in order to help victims of last May’s Oklahoma tornadoes. All proceeds from the sales of the book will be donated to the May Tornadoes Relief Fund, which is administered by United Way.
